To celebrate the release of the Pro Plus 2 Online Specialty Class Oceanic and DiveNav are sponsoring this contest.

Grand Prize: One REAL Oceanic Pro Plus 2 Dive Computer

Rules: To be eligible to win the the Pro Plus 2, You must obtain the Pro Plus 2 Specialty Card before May 31, 2010

To obtain the Pro Plus 2 Specialty Card You must complete the Pro Plus 2 Online Specialty Class.
You can enroll in the Pro Plus 2 Online Specialty Class using 650 Bubble Credits or an Activation Code.

Winner will be announced in June 2010 and name will be posted in this forum.


Legal Terms
Eligibility: To be eligible for this contest, you must (a) be a registered user of the eDiving service., and (b) be 13 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States for the duration of the contest, and (c) have obtained the Pro Plus 2 Specialty Card before May 31, 2010. Minors between the ages of 13 and 17 must first obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian in order to enter. If a prize is won by a minor, it will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian on the minors' behalf. Full-time DiveNav employees and members of their immediate families are not eligible for this contest. DiveNav may reject any entries that it determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, fail to meet any of these eligibility requirements. To be eligible you must agree to abide by these terms and conditions and be bound by all DiveNav decisions relating to this contest, which are final and binding in all respects, including but not limited to DiveNav’s determination of the winners.

Prizes: There is only ONE prize; the Oceanic Pro Plus 2 dive computer. The winner is responsible for the payment of all taxes associated with the receipt of any prize. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted, except that if any prize is unavailable, DiveNav has the right to substitute a prize of substantially equal value. The Prize may not be redeemed for cash.

Winner Selection: The winning entry will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by DiveNav on June 7th 2010. The decision of the judges is final. The criteria that the judges will use to select the entry are based on the time it took participant to complete the class. The winner must sign and notarize an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release, and must be returned to DiveNav within ten (10) days, in order for the winner to be officially recognized. If any winner is unable to accept his/her Prize, or if any winner does not return the signed Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within ten (10) days, DiveNav will automatically disqualify such winner and will draw another winner at random. The winner must agree to grant DiveNav permission to use their name, photograph and likeness for advertising and promotion of this and similar promotions or the DiveNav products or services without compensation, unless prohibited by law. The winner must also sign any applicable forms required by tax authorities and prize suppliers. The Prizes will only be awarded to the winners who comply with these rules.

Announcement of the Winner: The name of the Prize winners will be announced on June 10, 2010 on this forum.

Limitations of Liability: BY ACCEPTING DELIVERY OF THE PRIZE, A WINNER AGREES THAT THE PRIZE IS AWARDED ON THE CONDITION THAT DIVENAV AND ITS AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES AND EMPLOYEES WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION OR USE OF THE PRIZE. The winner further acknowledge that the foregoing parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee (express or implied, in fact or in law) in connection with the prize or the use or enjoyment of the prize. THE PRIZES ARE AWARDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY SORT, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

General Conditions: If any provision of this Official Contest Rules is held to be illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these rules shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. DiveNav reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these rules. If DiveNav determines, in its sole discretion, that the on-line portion of the contest is compromised by virus, bug, robot entries, or other corruption of the administration, security or proper play of the contest, then, at its sole discretion, DiveNav can cancel this contest. In the event of any non-compliance with any requirement stated herein, a winner’s prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. This contest is governed by and shall be construed under the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without regard to the conflicts of law provisions therein. The parties hereby irrevocably consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts of San Diego, California. The prize will only be sent to a U.S. address, and will be subject to all applicable US taxes and withholding. This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by any relevant federal, state or local law, including but not limited to jurisdictions with laws that would require registration, disclosure, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements that are not satisfied.

I just completed the Oceanic Pro-Plus2 on-line specialty course. Guess I will have to wait and see if the dive computer 'gods' are on my side. I sure hope so, I phoned my grandmother and took my mother-in-law on a road trip.

Just completed the Pro Plus II class today, May 31st... am I eligible for the contest?

Congratulation to Stephen Domorod, Winner of the Oceanic Pro Plus 2 - DiveComputerTraining contest.

Stephen, from North Haven, CT, is the lucky winner having successfully completed the
Oceanic Pro Plus 2 Online Class faster then anybody else.
