Well first I hope this is in the right section. Second, I did search the forums, but didnt find anything. I am having a bit of a weight issue in the game. I do realize that depending on what you have makes a difference. I have a ALU80 tank, 7mm suit, and basic bcd. I originally went diving in 21lbs, then bought the Titan CCR. The Titan still required 21lbs, but when I switched back to the ALU80, I now have to use about 35lbs to sink from the surface, to about 30 feet. From around 30 feet to about 100 feet, i have to drop again to around 25 lbs, in order to stay balanced, and below 100 feet, I am back down to 21 lbs. When I go to surface, I have to reverse these steps, in order to prevent myself from shooting up like a rocket. I've tried everything I could think of, but looking for some help, or a reason why this might be happening. Thanks.
I just started having the same problem. No change in equipment. Needed 15lbs to descend with al80 and 7mm suit now it takes 30lb to start a descent. Started when I dropped weight (underwater) to bring up dive helment. Next dive went back to 15lbs and could not descend

Same dive site or different one ?

I've never had to change weights except when changing equipment. I use 25lbs with oc doubles and 38lbs with the ccr (both with drysuits). Doesn't seem to matter what site. Trinkets also account for weight, so if you are carrying some on one dive, and not the next, that will change your buoyancy. Especially the Mark V helmet...lol. That'll take you straight to the bottom if you aren't careful.
